Past Applications : Rodolphus

Character Info
name. Rodolphus Lestrange
age. 18
hogwarts year they are entering. Recently graduated
hogwarts house.Slytherin, although that's hardly important now.
sexuality. Very, very straight.
family. Father Eduard Lestrange, mother Angeline (Oulett), brother Rabastan
relationship with family members.
Eduard Lestrange : Rodolphus is definitely the proverbial apple of his father's eye, his greatest pride and joy, a shining hope for the future of their family, and definitely the favorite of his two sons. As a child, Eduard was extremely involved in his son's life. The two of them spent a great deal of time together on special father son outings of which Rabastan was never invited to once he was born. Eduard seems to be of the opinion that Rodolphus was really the only son he needed and the only reason he and his wife even attempted for a second child was because Angeline wanted a girl, thus he's invested a great deal of education and time to his eldest son who will eventually be the one to inherit the family estate once he passes on. Rodolphus' own opinion of his father is certainly mixed. Despite the fact his father is his father, he never particularly felt any real sentiment or affection for him. Instead, he was simply the one responsible for giving him whatever he wanted whether it be attention, praise, or more tangible assets, and little else. With everything handed over and lauded as he was, Rodolphus had to work little to earn big rewards and thus never learned to have much respect for his father. He'd not stupid enough to admit as much though, lest the river run dry.

Angeline Lestrange : Unlike his little brother, Rodolphus isn't too much of a mama's boy. He does outwardly care for his mother even if his real emotions for her are as shallow as they are for her father. He'll hug her and bring her gifts and call her his dear, sweet mother but in reality Angeline isn't the type of woman that her eldest son favors. She's too calm and well mannered, subservient and weak of health for him to have much tolerance for her. Not to mention she seems to be one of the very few people that can see through the many fronts Rodolphus puts up and can accurately gauge the real man beneath. Angeline seems to be the only one in the house to realize the cold detachment Rodolphus feels for the rest of his family and his own personal depravity. Because she's not quite sure just what her son is capable off besides being a bit put off by him she's also a little over protective of the people who are forced to deal with him on a daily basis like Rabastan or her husband. She doesn't not love her eldest son, even if he did turn out to be a truly dangerous person, he is still her first born and she will always be there for him, she just wants to do as much damage control as possible.

Rabastan Lestrange Rodolphus would have much rather preferred to be an only child than to be an older brother. Things may be different if he didn't find Rabastan's personality and behavior to be so unsavory but he certainly wouldn't bet any money on the possibility. Rodolphus isn't quite sure what to make of his younger brother's quiet and observant demeanor but because Rabastan seems far more gentle natured than he is, Rodolphus has easily written him off as harmless and even a little bit girly. Rabastan takes far more time to figure things out than his older brother, who is much more a man of action, and his caution is often mistaken by Rodolphus as cowardice. He does like, however, how his younger brother seems to look up to him and from time to time has found some use for his younger sibling even if it was only as a passing amusement or social and or scientific experiment. He isn't above teasing his brother or being passively cruel just to see how long it takes before Rabastan snaps. However, since Rabastan also bears the same surname as he does Rodolphus doesn't wish to completely alienate him. He's sure with a little bit of proper guidance and toughening up Rabastan could actually be someone he could stand to be seen in public with.

personal history. If Angeline Lestrange had passed away most unfortunately in childbirth during the labor of her first son her death would have been ultimately fitting. Rodolphus was the type of youth his parents had remarked wearily would someday be the death of them. They were definitely proud of him, especially Eduard, but Rodolphus could certainly be a handful. He was overly curious, oddly fearless, and thrived like a weed on even the smallest bit of attention and praise. Negative attention was certainly easier to come by and in much greater supply than positive so it was towards this that he most often gravitated. His parents had hoped the birth of their second son and his mother's near brush with death would do something to quell Rodolphus' colorful personality but unfortunately, not even responsibility or the threat of loss was enough to alter his bad behavior.

As opposed to reading books, studying, or helping his father and mother around the house with their business, Rodolphus preferred to spend as much time as possible on his own outside and became a familiar fixture in his neighborhood. He was rather popular among the other children mostly because he was willing to do all of those crazy things that everyone else wanted to do but were too afraid of getting in trouble to experiment. Rodolphus was the first one to poke the dead animal on the side of the road with the stick or to chase the girls around with a mouse or a particularly leggy bug. He would start fights with the other boys and bully other children when he couldn't have his way. For attention he would bite the wings off of butterflies and eat spiders.

Babysitting his little brother on his many excursions into the real world outside of his house wasn't something that Rodolphus enjoyed doing or eagerly volunteer for. He viewed his brother as a tag along, meek, boring, and a complete drag. The fact that his parents forced Rabastan on him only made Rodolphus dislike his brother more as if somehow all of it was entirely his fault. While he was never outwardly mean towards his brother he did like to see just what kind of trouble he could talk Rabastan into getting himself involved with and then watch the consequences from the safety of the side lines.

The struggle to get Rodolphus to do anything idle, anything that required sitting still for extended amounts of time, was more often than not so exhausting in of itself that after a few failed attempts to force their son into obedience, Mr. and Mrs. Lestrange would simply give up and let Rodolphus have his way. Punishment seemed to have little sway over their rambunctious son and his temper tantrums proved unbearable. Taking him out anywhere in public, even when he promised to be good, often ended with apologies.

Eduard was optimistic despite everything. He felt Rodolphus' uncontrollable nature and tendency for trouble making were only the behaviors of all healthy young boys. It meant his eldest son was domineering, a leader, and unafraid of taking risks. He was easily reassured that his heir would certainly never grow up to be a push over, would never be a tool, walked on or taken advantage of. Rodolphus just needed time to mellow, to finesse his skills and assets, to mature, all of which would eventually come with age.

As he grew older, however, Rodolphus didn't really seem to mellow. In fact, his play time antics only seemed to grow more and more dangerous and aggressive. He got into fist fights and often came home with cuts or scrapes and bruises. While he may not have been bigger and stronger than some of the others his age that lived near him, his ferocious personality dwarfed boys even three or four years older than he was. He became less of a person people wanted to be friends with and more of the type of person people wanted to be friends with just because it was better than being his enemy. To Rodolphus, there wasn't much of a difference and he never seemed upset by the fact that he didn't seem to have any genuine friends.

When he turned eleven in February, Rodolphus received his invitation to Hogwarts and come September Rodolphus was sorted into Slytherin, a favorite house among those in his family line. The under handed and ambitious qualities that Salazar Slytherin had outlined in the creation of his house suited Rodolphus well. Or at least, the idea of them did. He was usually far too brusque to be sneaky or clever but that didn't stop him from believing he was the devious villain he always pictured himself as.

School, however, would prove to be a far cry different than the life Rodolphus had been used to up until this point. The notoriety and infamy he'd earned for himself at home was completely nonexistent in a place where few considered him anything more than just another puny first year. Having his reputation nearly wiped clean away left Rodolphus oddly vulnerable, unsure of himself, and out of place. Even though he did manage to meet up with some of the other Pureblood children he'd grown up with over the years and even though he enjoyed his classes and the environment of being away from home, the first few terms of school really tempered his exuberance.

While his marks were passable but not outstanding in nearly every subject, and god awful in some like Herbology and Care of Magical Creatures, Rodolphus excelled in Transfiguration and seemed to have a natural knack for transforming one object into another. The positive reinforcement of both good grades, his parents reactions to them, and his professor's approval and willingness to make an example of exactly what to do from Rodolphus work to the rest of the class gave the eldest Lestrange an unnatural passion for the subject. He took the study home with home over holidays and vacations and became deeply involved in his first and maybe only real academic pursuit. His parents, shocked that Rodolphus could sit still long enough to study anything, encouraged their son's new found hobby.

Transfiguration turned into a bit of an obsession, however, and besides the magical concept of rearranging molecules, Rodolphus also studied things like Biology, Anatomy, and Physiology. He became extremely interested in learning just how things were put together and how they worked and would take every available opportunity to research the insides of living things whenever he could, even if it meant he had to catch his subjects himself.

By the time second year approached, Rodolphus was ready and prepared for the type of environment Hogwarts perpetuated. He'd thought about it and came up with a plan to make himself stand out. The first stop on his itinerary was to join up for extracurricular activities. He tried out for the Slytherin Quidditch team as a beater but because of his age he was not accepted as an official member of the team until his fourth year. During the interim Rodolphus was, however, allowed to practice and play with the team unofficially.

Secondly, he realized he needed to do something to make himself stand out from the rest of the other students. For this, he returned to his roots and all of those things that had made people stop and take notice of him when he was much younger. So, Rodolphus became a bully. He harassed younger students and older students and seemed to, even when he lost fights or arguments, come off as a winner if anything on account of his irrepressible optimism. He was Rodolphus Lestrange and thus undefeatable! His bad behavior earned him all sorts of reproachful glances from the other students and quite a few lectures from the teachers. His pranks and games tended to be a little too much for some to handle and often ended in someone going to the hospital wing.

As if the first two things weren't enough, Rodolphus also became the center of quite the rumor factory. Usually the outlandish and often times gruesome stories revolved around himself and his family and the goings on at his house. He told wide-eyed first years that his mother had a coat made out of kittens, that he had once had an older brother who his father had eaten as was Lestrange family tradition, that he did still have an older brother but he was crazy and had been confined to the basement where he lived like a wild animal after he attacked his mother and devoured her right arm. Anything disturbing or disgusting or just down right bizarre and morbid that crossed his mind was woven into some abominable tale of which he was somehow related to.

In the beginning of his third year, Rodolphus plans for slow but sure world domination came to an abrupt stand still because it was in his third year that he actually started to notice girls. Or rather, one girl in particular. While it was true he'd met many girls in his past, he could never quite come to terms with the way they giggled or batted their eyelashes or the way they seemed so completely absorbed in romance and clothes or glamour charms. He'd always been a little turned off by the way they pranced around and demanded gifts or special attention simply because they existed. He was down right disgusted when he witnessed couples out on their Hogsmeade weekends, poor saps being led around practically on a leash by their 'better halves'. He just couldn't fathom their delicateness or their need to be romanced or protected by a set of sturdy shoulders. Bellatrix Black, however, seemed to reject all of that, even the very idea of it, but at the same time maintained her femininity effortlessly. The idea of a strong woman who could hold her own was a completely foreign concept and something he was undeniable attracted to.

While he'd never thought he'd be able to settle down with one of the simpering doe-eyed girls that seemed to exist absolutely everywhere, the possibility of finding an equal, someone just as domineering and antagonistic who could actually challenge him instead of give themselves up to him seemed too perfect to be true. And so, he stalked Bellatrix shamelessly. Even if he could never bring himself to openly confront her with his affection (as he was sure that just wouldn't go over well) Rodolphus had already made up his mind that Bellatrix was his, the woman he would marry and spend the rest of his life with.

Bellatrix thus became on the receiving end of Rodolphus' extra special attention. Instead of love poems, he sent her hate mail, instead of gifts he owled her dead animals at breakfast. He teased her mercilessly whenever they were together and came up with a myriad of names to call her. Behind her back he would tell outrageous stories about her, both about how awful she was and, at the same time, how she continually threw herself at him and how he had to fight as if he were struggling for his life just to fend her off. It was a trend that followed him throughout the rest of his years at Hogwarts and even if his advances became more bold the older he became (he once severed a lock of her hair and wove it into a ring which he wore for weeks until it unraveled and was lost), he never could bring himself to admit that he liked her even if so much was obvious.

Of course even if he was downright hateful about Bellatrix in all of his words and actions, the moment anyone else seemed to cross over the line with her he would react as if they had somehow done him personal harm. When he heard some fifth years talking about how they'd managed to catch a peek up Bellatrix's skirt and about all of the things they would love to do to her, he sort of lost it. It took several teachers to break up the fight and even if in the end Rodolphus had managed to get his ass irrefutably kicked it wasn't without taking one of the other three boys to the hospital wing with him. The consequences for his behavior, especially since he offered no explanation to the cause of the brawl, were grave and he was very nearly suspended from school. After some angry correspondences from his parents, a few personal visits and meetings with the Headmaster, a great deal of detentions and a personal guarantee from Rodolphus himself to never do anything like that ever again he was some how miraculously allowed to continue his education at Hogwarts uninterrupted.

His fourth year marked Rodolphus' debut on the Qudditch field. In sports he managed to make quite a name for himself as a brutal and sometimes underhanded Beater and he loved the position simply because it allowed him to be as violent as he wanted without getting in trouble. It was also in his fourth year that in between his unnatural courtship of Bellatrix Black and malevolent sports talent, Rodolphus took a special interest in his younger brother. His previous near miss with suspension and the fact that he now had another Lestrange to make a good impression for taught Rodolphus that maybe the most forward course of action was not the best course of action and allowed maybe a little bit of that Slytherin two-faced deceit to sink in.

Rodolphus realized, learned, and began to practice the art of subtlety, of projecting an air of benevolence, humanity, and servitude in order to escape suspicion when someone poisoned the Arithmancy Professor's tea. Not that he ever did such a thing but if he wanted to he understood that a benign reputation would certainly go great lengths to allowing him to get away with it! Thus he began to bully in secret, threatening younger but smarter students to do his homework or else and Merlin help them if they told anyone. He became all smiles and politeness, even with people he wouldn't degrade himself to speak to a year ago. He studied and worked hard and even if he wasn't completely able to erase from the minds of the student body the terrible stories he'd told or the fights he'd gotten into, he did manage to fool the general population into believing he was at least trying to be a better person.

By the time he graduated, it was with six N.E.W.T.S, a respectable talent on the Quidditch pitch, quite a few people who believed he actually liked them, and yet, unfortunately, no Bellatrix Black. As always, he refused to admit any failure as an actual loss and progressed through his life in much the same manner as he always did.

Post Hogwarts life has found Rodolphus still living at home with his parents but brazenly unembarrassed about the fact. When his mother and father insisted he couldn't stay around the house and do nothing all day, Rodolphus went out into the world and found a job as a clerk in Flourish and Blott's and was subsequently fired after showing an unknowing six year old to the Hexes and Curses section. He then found another job at Honeydukes and was subsequently fired for eating more than he sold. He then found another job in an apothecary and was subsequently fired for selling hemlock root instead of valerian thus allegedly making himself responsible for the death of a very important's client very prized pack of Greyhounds. He then found another job and was subsequently fired and thus travels through life from job to job aimlessly although he's recently set sights on a cushy position at the Ministry of Magic even if he hasn't quite decided what it will be.

Even though he's heard of Voldemort and certainly doesn't disagree with the rumors he's been told of the dark wizard's method of operation, he has yet to actually meet with the man in person or take the Mark. But then again, how does one track down the Dark Lord without him coming to you first?

physical description. Rodolphus brags that he has one of the best faces in the wizarding world and has absolutely no problem being called or referred to as a pretty boy. When he needs to look good, he can look very, very good and when he needs to look bad he has no problem being frightening. He has a clean, expressive face with a strong jaw line and a well defined mouth good for lip biting, pouting, kissing, smirking, and even scowling. His eyes are pale and green and in comparison to the rest of his dark and brooding features the lightness of them can be a little disconcerting. If asked, however, the eldest Lestrange son will insist his gaze is "arresting and passionate" and just as likely to attract as it is to repulse and inspire a cowering cringe should be put the necessary emotion behind it. His hair is a dark brown and he wears it a little on the long side in that casual and unkempt style that seems to be so popular among boys his age. It's a look he has to work at to maintain, however. While he probably could be one of those boys that wakes up and goes out without spending any time fussing in front of a mirror, vanity just simply won't allow it.

Since most of his favorite past times and hobbies involve being outside, Rodolphus' skin tone tends to be dark and tanned. He has an athletic build with the majority of his strength residing in his arms and hands courtesy of four years playing Beater for the Slytherin Quidditch team. Rodolphus carefully maintains his body weight and appearance as a man who strives for his own personal best at all times.

His favorite body part out of all of them would have to be his hands. They aren't the soft, supple hands of the affluent, but firm with thick fingers that make a solid fist when he curls them up. He has the type of hands, he brags, that have seen work. The skin on his palms and the backs of his hands are speckled with scars from bite marks and scratches with a callous on the inside of the middle finger on his right hand from writing.

Rodolphus has maybe a little too much fun when it comes to style and fashion. He refuses to wear anything but the finest tailored garments his family can afford and enjoys dressing up to the nines even for the most simple and mundane tasks. He favors oxfords, shiny shoes, suspenders, ties, cufflinks, and the color white. The only time Rodolphus can ever stand to dress down is when he's playing sports, or otherwise engaging in messy or dirty activities. He's been told before that he dresses like a ponce although he doesn't take too much offense to it since his main goal is to look expensive, more wealthy than his family actually is, and to stand out in a crowd. He's fairly confident in his ability to live up to all of these expectations no matter the reactions he receives.

general personality. Above all, Rodolphus is in love with the lime light. He devours any attention he receives no matter if it's good or bad and will often take the easiest route possible to get as much notoriety or fame as possible. He loves the idea of people talking about him, no matter what they're saying, and is absolutely thrilled when someone he's never met before knows who he is before introductions are made. This desire for infamy is something that motivates most everything that he does. His family line is alright but the Lestrange's aren't the Malfoys and they certainly aren't the Blacks. Mediocrity is not something that Rodolphus can stand to settle for and is determined to, during his life time, make the Lestrange name par with other Pureblood greats. Even if the only way for him to accomplish his goal is through spreading bigotry and terror he's willing to do what it takes without regret.

One of his more inhuman and disconcerting personality traits is his disregard for other people around him, even those of his immediate family. He believes that those around him need to somehow earn his affection. Simply being born into his family or being born into it himself doesn't equal loyalty or devotion. He is a little too critical when it comes to the people he meets. He dislikes displays of weakness in others, men who are too emotional or who whine too much, and prefers women with a stronger sense of self as opposed to the trophy wives mass produced by the Pureblood women of his day and age. He lacks a lot of empathy and seems to live without a moral conscious. That isn't to say he's completely lawless, murdering Muggles or Muggleborn's left and right, he just doesn't feel bad when it happens and is generally incapable of commiserating or feeling guilty over his actions, even if his carelessness has hurt someone else.

Despite his apathy for the people around him, Rodolphus is surprisingly charismatic. He views the world almost as if he's not a part of it. He can explore and experience life around him without suffering those ridiculous emotional attachments since he can count all the people he actually cares about on one hand. He enjoys interacting with other people immensely, despite their background, magical ability, or blood line. His fascination with people extends even to the Muggle world and unlike other Purebloods, he isn't afraid to explore this alternative lifestyle and all of its curiosities. He knows they're beneath him but that isn't going to stop him from playing with them. He enjoys pushing people's buttons and doing whatever it takes to get some sort of passionate reaction out of another person within the boundary of manners. While no one could ever say that Rodolphus was the epitome of gentlemanly grace, he's certainly not going to belch at the table or be openly rude in a public setting.

Rodolphus Lestrange is Rodolphus Lestrange's number one fan! He really thinks he's great! This isn't with the same narcissism as, say, the Malfoys, but more like an adoring fan boy for...himself! He says and does a lot of things he think will make him look cool, tough, rich, scary, funny, cute, handsome, debonair, whatever image he's trying to promote for himself. For example, when he wants to appear worldly and knowledgeable he'll strut around smoking a cigar, or if he wants to be charismatic he'll strut around in fancy suits and shiny shoes. He likes to make up nicknames for himself not only to inspire curiosity, awe, and fear, but also just in case the Prophet decides to do a series of stories on him and needs something catchy to call him in the headlines.

No matter what he'll tell you, Rodolphus really isn't as great as he claims. He may think he's clever, smooth, suave, intelligent, and devious but there really isn't anything about him that screams brains. That isn't to say he's stupid, as he is well educated, he's just not the evil genius he claims to be. Instead, he is much more of a follower than a leader. Once he finds someone he's willing to devout time and effort to he has absolutely no problem letting them set the pace.

A good way to describe him may very well be 'a pig in a suit'. Rodolphus may clean up nice and smile and be charming when he needs to be, especially in front of the parents of other Pureblood children his age, but ultimately, the eldest Lestrange is still a little on the immature side. He laughs at dirty jokes and makes crude comments frequently. His behavior towards Bellatrix, taunting and teasing and pulling her hair is a fine example of just how much Rodolphus hasn't grown up. No doubt if he were a muggle, he would be the stereotypical frat boy, drunk by noon on a Thursday, hitting on girls, and drawing penises on his friends faces after they passed out at a party.

Rodolphus is a man very dedicated to his goals and ideals. He will work hard and ceaselessly to achieve what he wants and isn't afraid to make the sacrifices necessary to achieve his desires. This makes him a very loyal individual when it comes to things like Pureblood ethics and later Voldemort and his marriage to Bellatrix Black. Under the tutelage of his father, Rodolphus learned several skills to both meet his desired ends and to give himself a bit of an edge in both Dark Magic, networking with other Pureblood families, and how to throw around the weight of their family's name and wealth. He isn't even afraid to get his hands dirty and jumps at the opportunity to complete the tasks that some of his peers may be a little shy or squeamish about. He'll suck up, placate, hurt, maim, and probably even murder for the right person if asked.

Rodolphus biggest flaw is probably his almost complete inability to think before he acts. As opposed to the quiet, thoughtful, devious kind of villain he is the shoot first and ask questions later type of person. This lack of tact and caution could prove to be very detrimental to him given the right circumstances. Hand in hand with his thoughtlessness, Rodolphus is very easily swayed to follow orders, especially if they're given to him by people he views as figures of authority, people he respects, or people he wants to like him. Another flaw would be Rodolphus' bad temper. He is an easy man to provoke if one knows how to do it.

Rodolphus is the kind of individual who is used to having everything go his way and when things around him deviate from that trend, or when they start going poorly, Rodolphus crashes hard from the dose of reality. When he throws a temper tantrum they can often last for days and in them is he moody and gloomy and obnoxiously victimized and he will take his bad mood out on absolutely anyone that gets close enough. These bouts of annoyed depression last for days in which he is completely useless without the proper distraction. Along the same lines, once someone has personally offended Rodolphus he will hold a grudge against them until the day they die. He is extremely unforgiving when it comes to assaults against him and will never, under any circumstance, back down when threatened.

hobbies. One may consider Rodolphus' eternal struggle to find an occupation as a hobby. He's worked at many different places and tried many different things but isn't quite able to find a place where he fits in. Stalking Bellatrix Black may also fit in here even if it's a little unusual as a way for passing the time. On a more traditional level, Rodolphus enjoys Quidditch, travels whenever he can, and worries too much about clothes and appearances. He also enjoys studying people on a purely blood and guts level and uses this knowledge to further his advancement in Transfiguration. He likes to perform all sorts of experiments of which he keeps extensive and detailed journals on for the sake of posterity.

boggart. A Werewolf
what they would see in the Mirror of Erised. Himself and his wife, Bellatrix, outrageously rich and known world wide, respected and envied by all.
favourite subject. Transfiguration, by far.
least favourite subject. Care of Magical Creatures. Animals and Rodolphus never got along very well.
view on Voldemort. Rodolphus, like most Purebloods, was taught all about Pureblood supremacy and threat of the great Muggle Menace. He isn't adverse to following these teachings either, especially since they mean he is far superior to most others without having to do anything to be that way. Eventually he will join Voldemort's band of followers and will devote himself fully and completely to his most noble cause.

ten adjectives to describe them. immature, curious, social, obsessive, apathetic, carnal, desperate, moody, vainglorious, cruel.

first-person journal entry.
What is it about women that leads them to believe that just because they exist they should be worshiped like Goddesses? They are the fairer sex, that's to be sure, and demand special treatment, to be treasured and protected and catered to and at the same time expect and want to be seen as equals to their masculine counter parts. Isn't that a little two faced? I don't know a single self respecting man who wants to be treated that way, unless of course you count Lucius Malfoy (although I believe he is male only through genetics alone).

I say if women want to be our equals they should stop making such outrageous demands. Let's face it, to a woman there is no such thing as a perfect man. There's always something wrong with all of us, something that needs tweaking or changing in order to make us completely one hundred percent acceptable and even if we acquiesce, the fickle feminine heart will only find some other aspect of a man's personality or masculinity to translate into a flaw or vice.

Sure, no one can truly appreciate a woman the way a man can, their smell and their soft skin and the curves and movements of their bodies. And certainly we're a slave to their charms and wiles. No man I have ever met or heard of is capable of living without sex (unless there's something terribly and irreparably wrong with them), but I'd put a great deal of money on the notion that similarly, no one can truly appreciate a man the way that a woman can. Even if they want us to believe their aloof and indifferent to the mating game, any woman left alone for too long without the company of a man will undoubtedly grow soul-sick from their absence.

Men cannot live without women and women cannot live without men, that's the way we've been designed and the way the world operates and is propagated.

I know, however, that I have never in all of my life met a woman who is so outrageously amazing simply by existence, breathing air and beating heart, that she deserves undying loyalty and devotion and to have myself or any man crawling around at her feet begging for her favor or desperate to at any means or costs prove themselves to her. I'm not saying I've never encountered a woman that's made me feel that way, simply that logically there is no such creature.

I believe that for a woman, and every woman does this, to demand such a price from us, the masculine sex, is not only inherently wrong but down right evil. Men are every bit as deserving of the same demand for groveling and proof of worth from the women of the world. Men have allowed themselves to be emasculated by their mothers and sisters, girlfriends and wives, made to believe their attention and affection are worth doing anything for when in actuality it simply a common courtesy that should be given as freely as introductions at a party. They are unnaturally deceitful you know.

No longer will I fall prey to their cunning. I will not and will never make a fool out of myself in order to garner the attention of any woman. From now on, they'll have to prove themselves to me if they are going to demand that I validate myself. I've had enough of snobby, stuck up girls who have no respect for a man and who trod over or ignores their value and importance.
